There is a seated cat model at 3DCafe in the animals section. It will
require conversion to .pov format.

Hi Stefano!

Could you tell me if you find one, please? I also need a cat, best
would be a sleeping one. 3dcafe only has got one... and it's sitting...
Thanks,
Florian

just found out that they got 2 cat poser models for free at
www.renderosity.com. they are walking (not animated, they have that,
too), so it's nothing for me, but perhaps you are interested.

Well, if they are poser models then you should be able to pose them
in any position you want... At least in theory.

In theory... :)
I tried Poser 3 some days ago for some minutes. Would take me ages to
pose the cat in a natural way... But I think I'll have to do so if I
can't find anything else :)

Hmm, are you sure these are actual models ? I just looked and saw cat
textures and cat motion files, but no stand-alone cat models, which makes
sense since there's already one bundled with Poser. AFAIK, there are only 3
Poser cats, the default one, the new DAZ one and a DAZ toon cat.

Your mileage may vary, but I found Poser a lot easier once I gave up trying to
drag limbs, etc. to natural poses using the mouse directly, and instead started
using the dials...
