Then you are obviously doing something wrong.

With regard to VR, or regardless of topic?

The year at the very least.

Dunno :-)

Macs ;-)
I've fiddled a couple of times...years ago [POV 2.whatever]
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~martincrisp/mirrors.mov
[Using POV with a cylindrical camera, and some freeware tools -
whose names I can't recall. Used similar tools (VRWorx or some
such) for fiddling with photos->VRpanoramas]
I've also made an object movie using POV, but don't have it online
anywhere (it isn't very good, and doesn't quite work right, and I
just haven't found the round tuits...).
You should be able to find some freeware (or obsoleted versions of
commercial) tools on cover CDs... but I'm not very familiar with
PC-specific mags. Computer Arts (UK) may be worth a try...
[The other magazine I'd suggest isn't (wasn't?) exactly popular
with the POV-Team... Is the Mac version of _that_ magazine under a
similar cloud?]
Have Fun
