Section 10.1.8.4 gives a range of 2 to 15 for the order of poly,
whereas 6.5.3.2 gives a range of 2 to 7.

It's a bit perturbing ;->

I remember making that correction from 7 to 15 in the Quick Reference for version
3.1g. Unless the developers have limited it
in version 3.5, it should still allow for up to 15 for the order.

Has anyone ever made a poly with an order greater than 7?

Don't know. Did a web search for geometric functions with a higher order but I
couldn't find one.
