Sorry, I keep finding names I recognise:
Mr. Art.
Chris Cason.
Rick [Kitty 5] - A VERY familiar name.
Bill DeWitt
Ingo
Chris Huff (POV-team?????)
Steve
Jim Kress

The more I think about it the more I realize I spent time away from
POV-ray. Last time I used it productively was before I went to
university and I've not graduated! It must be AT LEAST 3 YEARS!

Wow, I didn't think I had been posting here for three years.
But now that I think back, it might be longer.

Well, welcome back. How is University? What are you studying?

Not the POV-team, but the TAG-team. See http://tag.povray.org

Welcome back!

MegaPOV is a fantastic addition to the POV family that has been created
while you were gone. Give it a try!

Here's a URL:

Have fun!

Welcome back from me too! :)

MegaPOV is great but unofficial. You could also wait just a few days for the
official POV-Ray 3.5 which has many of the MegaPOV features included as well
as many other great improvements which are not in MegaPOV.

We should be cafeful to refer to it as the beta release of POV-Ray v3.5
to avoid any confusion.

Hmm... Well that comment is going to stir up a real hornets nest... :)

Bye for now,

True.

But the beta version of POV-Ray 3.5 is far more complete and well-tested
than even the most final version of MegaPOV.

"A few days" can mean anything really...
