Hi everyone, after more than one year I´m back and pov again
The Idea of my dimension tunnel was from an schoolmate-thanx timon and it
says roughly: im standing in one landscape and looking through a Window into
another Landscape. Only, if I walk round the window It´s just a window
again.
so far the idea . to get this effect I have to declare the Worlds as Objects
and then use intelligent Intersections with a cone to show thw Part of the
other world, that´s "inside" the Window (the matrix keyword did a good job
there). that all works pretty well so far (despite the lighting-I had to
make some limitations there), only my world objects don´t look to
interesting. For I know there are tons of creative world designers out
there I´m starting this request. perhaps we could take already completed
worlds and include them with some little patches.
Worlds need to be Pov objects, every thing that is part of the world has to
be inside and they have to be 1e4 units in diameter max.
I´m gonna post a test picture with my my two bori-worlds in
p.binaries.images.
So if anyone wants to see the other side.....
Matthias

You might want to look back in p.b.i. a little, maybe two months, for a
version of this. I think it was Ron Parker but don't quote me on that.

Not me. That'd require creativity.

You are just being modest :)

Could be... I might have said Mick Hazelgrove... should I have? I
probably did... I think that's what I meant to say at least. If you heard me
say anything else it might have been a mistake...

I´m sorry but I couldn´t find it. Do you have a clue what was in the topic
line, so I can search it more easily? It´s unlikely that it was Ron´s
message. there are only "RE:"s from him in p.b.i. the last few months.
Btw: sma### [at] t-online de isn´t correct any more but I just don´t know where I
have to change it. I thought I found all locations...
