Menu > Renderer > On Completion > Exit Pov-ray for Windows
once set, it will keep doing that. Did not try it from commandline yet.

What do I have to do to get people to spend 10 seconds searching the manual ?
All you had to do was hit F1, select Index, type in the single word 'exit' and
it would show you !!!!!!!!
Hint: As usual, the answer is clearly documented in the help file. Please try
reading it ... ('Special Command-Line Options').
