Anyone ever thought about using POV-Ray in a Client / Server setting ?

I mean editing the source and submitting files to render from a workstation
over a network then having a server doing the dirty work (AKA rendering).

I am asking myself whether is that possible using the render file list and
some little program to manipulate it

Any ideas about this ?

Thanx in advance

Paolo

There's a little around for MS systems. There was an older system for DOS
called CMASTER.

It used to be at http://www.algonet.se/~artcers/cmaster/

I've been doing a little on and off, but we're stepping things up now to help
with the IMP. So... may be a beta RSN...
