Hi!

Sorry for bothering you with another release...

The new slope release now takes perturbed surfaces into
account. That is, if you apply some bumping to a surface
then slope will take the surface normal's bump distortion
into account, too. This gives much more natural look.

For all of you who don't know slope yet: slope is a patch
to POV-Ray that provides for slope-dependent patterns.
Using this patch you can put snow on mountains in a
natural way, ie the snow will cover only horizontal areas
while steeper parts are looking rocky. But slope can do
much more...

From this version on a quick patch is included: You can
go directly from 0.2 to 0.3 in case you have already applied
slope-0.2 to your sources.

You will find the patch at

ftp://user.pecos.de/pub/povray/slope/

Enjoy
