I use the attached with a BASH one-liner:

#!/bin/sh
/home/jr/src/tcltk/spiro-1.tk | gnuplot -persist

'execPlot' prepares the input to gnuplot.  different for different s/wares, but
usually boils down to "feeding" program's stdin.
