not sure, but from memory, POV'matrix is

 | a b c |     < a, b, c,            < a, d, g,
 | d e f | -->   d, e, f,  -- or -->   b, e, h,
 | g h i |       g, h, i,              c, f, i,
                 0, 0, 0 >             0, 0, 0,>
