There is a definite bug in IsoSurface::All_Intersections(); see this post for an
analysis of the root cause:

The bug may cause spurious rendering artifacts in basically any scene with
isosurfaces touching or exceeding their contained_by shape; artifacts are most
likely to show in or near areas where the container is visible and illuminated,
and seem to typically consist of individual points where the isosurface can be
seen through. The behavior is sensitive to bounding, and seems to show only
when bounding is on.
