just noticed something with my current project and don't know if this is
intentional or not...statistics are only reporting light sources that
are /not/ in a light group. scene has 1 source not in any group with 4
lights in 2 groups... the lights used in the groups are a macro

The macro has nothing to do with that.
Light group lights are stored separately in POV-Ray's internal data
structures; I guess there wasn't an intentional decision to omit them
from the statistics, just plain old oversight.

thanks ... if you address this please consider reporting number of light
groups as well as adding the lights in those groups to the overall light
source total
