I posted a question about this to .general, but didn't get all that much
response.
Anyway, here's the problem: it would seem that the media_attenuation keyword
does nothing. Light is always attenuated (the media casts shadows) when the
media container uses filter, and never attenuated when the container uses
transmit.
I am aware of the problems with media and transmit, but it seems there's a
more general problem here.

I have POV 3.1d on Windows 98, PII Celeron, 128M RAM.
