As noted by Lars Wolter in povray.general, there is a bug in 3.1d (at least
the Windows version) when using bump_map - the object is not correctly
illuminated. This is clearly related with the double_illuminate bug. The
object is not double_illuminated, but the wrong side of the surface is
illuminated (put the light inside the object to see what I mean). The bug
doesn't affect procedural normal textures, where double_illuminate is fixed.
Also, there might be another problem. When a large bump_size is added, the
features of the bump_map become visible on the otherwise unshaded object.
This seems to suggest that the surface normal gets inverted in some places.
