This known bug will be fixed in the next release of POV-Ray for Windows.

system: Windows 95, Pentium 200MMX, 64mb RAM
Affects: Render image window
Description: Render window position changes (moves to somewhere other then
where it was last positioned) when selecting a small window size such as 80w
by 60h. All subsequent renders of higher resolution assume this new window
position until dragged into a new position, which then becomes the
user-defined default window position until the next time 80w by 60h is
chosen.
Workaround: None that I know of. If 80w by 60h is a necessary test
resolution then the window will just have to be re-positioned when changing
back to any higher resolution.

I think the POV-Ray team realizes that it's in their best interest to
let us
know which bugs they are aware of. That way, those of us reading these
reports will know not to bother reporting them. It then (in theory)
reduces
the number of redundant bug reports, thus making their lives easier.
Not to say we don't appreciate the service. ;-)
