I wanted to get POV-Ray syntax highlighting working in a GNOME-based editor.
The standard editor which comes with my distro, gedit, uses gtksourceview to
do syntax highlighting, but since I couldn't find any POV-Ray files for
gtksourceview, I've had a go at making them myself

The files in the attached archive provide language definitions for
gtksourceview, so applications built using this technology (e.g. gedit) can
display POV-Ray (and MegaPOV) source files with appropriate syntax
highlighting.

Extract the files and place them in the gtksourceview-1.0/language-specs/
directory (on my system it is
/opt/gnome/share/gtksourceview-1.0/language-specs/). When you next start
gedit, POV-ray and MegaPOV syntax highlighting should be available in the
View/Highlight Mode/Others menu.

I've tested these on various source files, but any feedback or error-reports
would be helpful, thanks.
