Hi all people interested in Hamapatch:
It seems like Hamapatch will turn its status from freeware to shareware
soon.
In the Hamapatch site there is a link to a page with some screenshots of the
new version that will be available soon and the advice that will be
shareware. It seems that new version will work with patches and polygons,
import objects directly from 3dstudio and lightwave format and more.

http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Ginza/6625/next_preview.html

That implies that the current version is the last available as freeware so
if you don't have it, my advice is: go ahead and get it.

May be some of you knew it before, but I think it's an important new and
haven't seen it posted here.

Bye

It sounds quite logical. From the news you can see it has grown very much these
months (the real-time mirror is a GREAT add). It much depends on the shareware
formula which will be used (with - without limitations).

Which too bad crashes a bit too often on my system (but I learnt to save a file every
minute, to avoid a fit of hysterics afterwards ;)

Yes.
But HAMAKAZU wrote on his BBS,
"A freeware version is also continued."
I think that it's like Metasequoia.
Metasequoia is shareware.
But There is freeware version,too.

It appears that hamaPatch will remain freeware, as the new shareware app
is called MetaMega. It is absolutely useless to the non-Japanese speaker
at the moment, as it is completely in Japanese, and it also appears that
it must be registered before it will do anything. I have emailed
Hamakazu-san to see what's up:-)
