Anim8or 0.7 is out since end of October.
It's freeware, of course.
I had not play with it since version 0.5 or so.
Now it's much better.

No, no POV import/export, (I don´t know a program that can import pov files
(except pob).
But you can use 3DWin, CrossRoads, 3ds2pov or any of the conversion
utilities that can do the job.
