Announcing Steve's Object Builder Ver 1.5
Steve's Object Builder is a free script based tool that can be used to make
3D objects for ray tracing programs such as POV-Ray. The tool uses Perl
(Practical Extraction and Report Language) as its script language
interpreter. One nice thing about Perl is that it is easy to use and it is
freely available on many platforms such as UNIX, Windows, and Macintosh. You
do not have to know how to program in Perl to use this tool.
What's New:
Added new L-system engine.
Added new RAW triangle display utility written in Perl (written by Vik
Olliver).
Added new option '-drawit' to automatically run the RAW triangle display
utility if the output format is RAW.
Added new option '-of' to specify an output filename (added by Vik
Olliver).
Combined the Mac and the PC version of the code so I only have to
maintain 1 version.
Documentation now is in PDF format.
Removed some progress indicators since they don't work correctly on all
systems.
