The final version of POV-Tree (Java-based tree generator)
is available here:
http://propro.ru/go/Wshop/tools/tools.html
The source files are available as well.
The final version has interactive tree editor and supports
UV-mapping. See README.txt for details.

Yep, it's not available at the moment. I don't know the
reason. This site is in Siberia/Russia. It's a very
long way to get there ........ :) Try again later.
If anybody could shelter POV-Tree on their web site I
would highly appreciate that.

Well, the files are in my website now:

I have used the files I had (some taken from
p.b.i., some from p.b.s-f., some from your
website)
I don't have Povtree's source files nor .jpg
files of filters examples. I think the rest is correct.
Check it out and send me what I miss or is incorrect,
or change what you want.

You may consider www.archive.org. For example povray.org snapshots are as
follow: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.povray.org/
(I have no idea if they handle zips or java aplets)
