Here is the latest version of my pov-ray editor and I gave it a name ( a
mix of POV, PYTHON and UNIX).
It is now fully functionnal and features syntax highlighting and undos (
with a few known bugs though).
I still have to find a way to redirect the POV output to the app without
blocking the GUI (actually, that's where I have stuck for a long while)
and implement the inserts.
By the way, if some of you know a few examples with the syntax
createfilehandler in Python.....I would be highly grateful to get a few
hints on it.
On the first run, indicate where the POV executable is located. The path
is then recorded in the pyvon.ini file
You can view a screenshot of the interface at p.b.images.
Just untar it where you want ( tar xzvf pyvon.tgz ) and type : python
a88.py
A88 is the name of the current version.
I saw that there is 'competition' in the POV editors using Python. I
definitely will have a try.
