I've heard that Rhino 3D can be used to export to POV, does anyone have an
URL where I can download the demo from a continuating site. The official
rhino3d ftp is a rare server that wont let you download the file in chunks.
I use getright to download, so that if the connection is broken it keeps the
position, but I can't do this with Rhino cos of the server. 8 megs it too
large to keep downloading, trying and failing to download especially on
metered internet access (bein British n all).

I have the July 9 relase of the 1.0 Evaluation. I can send it to you if
your mailbox will accept an 8Meg attachment. I really don't see a problem
with doing this considering it's a free eval...

Let me know!

Dave

No it doesn't actually I dont think anyway, no I know its evaluation, I'm
against pirate anyway, I just want a server that lets you download in chunk
(which are very common), most ISP's webspace lets you do this, the Rhino FTP
site though doesn't which means I have to download the whole file at once,
and last time the link was broken, I want to be able to use Getright.
Thanks anyway

OK. If you change your mind, I can send you the very file I downloaded from
www.rhino3d.com.

Trust me when I say you will NOT be disappointed with this product. It is a
remarkable piece of software, very extensible, and supports a huge range of
formats and exports (including Moray UDO and POV-Ray INC)!!

Speaking of Rhino, when the eval had about run out I decided that I had to
have it. I almost can't believe I spent that much money on a software
program, but it is *very* cool. It arrived today.

Now something hopefully useful: I got it from www.ob.com for $495, which is
a considerable discount.

Yes, and student, faculty, and educational staff can
get it for about $200 from CreationEngine.
