where can i find a program to convert povray to 3ds. the vfaq does not
list any.
if there is a way to get from povray to something else to 3ds then that
would bhe ok as well. all programs need to be for windows or dos.

The VFAQ doesn't list any because there is none. Only POV can read POV,
with the exception of povray meshes (and spheres apparently in some very
limited way), that can be read into Crossroads and exported to whatever
format you want, 3DS included.

CROSSROADS is a program in to which you import a POV file and then export
to 3ds dxf ...
