Hello. The new version of Blobmaster (Beta v. 0.1) is now available, as of
March 14. It can be found at
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Ridge/6532/bmaster.htm. Blobmaster is
a blob editor for POV-Ray. On his page, the author requested that someone
announce the new version to this newsgroup, as he hasn't been able to post
here again. So, I am doing so ....

It is MUCH better than the original, it even has a preview, and if you try it,
you can make suggestions to the author to make this THE blob program for POV.
I have been e-mailing with the author to see if I can help make the interface
better. Looks like this baby is going to have customizeable interfaces,
a-la-winamp. More news to come...

Thank you very much. I still can't post from my own machine and can't
fathom the problem. Obviously this post is from a different machine(note
the correct date). Its good to know there are people willing to help out
there.

So,
Is the source available?
If so would it be possible to port it to Linux, since I don't do
windows. Or does it use those strange COMs and the other stuff in
windows?
If it's possible I would like to take a shot at porting it to X (gtk).
