What are some good utilities out there that will allow mw to mage
avi or mpeg movies out of povray animations. I tried using render32 but
it only uses povray 2.0 language. I liked the program since you can
choose what video codec to use and add sound by the way of mod files.
Are there any other ones out there with similar capabilities? Or does
everyone use flc's and fli's?

Are that Series2Avi or Digitalseries still out there? I have both of those.
I think they are the sam, just different names. The output for both of those
is skewed and the color is all messed up. Are there more recent versions?

For mpeg, I discovered recently something pretty obvious to find (when you
know) : http://www.mpeg.org/ there you can get a load full of mpeg players,
encoders and decoders, some for free, some for a fee. Most are geared towards
Unix variants, but there are lots of ports to different systems.
I found the windows port of mpeg2ply a bit bare but works better than
ActiveMovie.
Cheers,
Al.
