Forgive me for asking a question that's probably been asked 1.2
zillion times already, but I just recently started back up learning
POV-Ray. I'd like to create a raytrace of certain logos in 3D, but all
I've got are .WMF files. I'm sure I can find a tool to convert a .WMF
file to many other vector formats (.PICT, .EPS, .GL, .DXF, ...). Is
there a utility which will convert some kind of vector format to
something I can then extrude in POV-Ray?

If you can convert wmf to dxf to raw or
wmf to raw then PovCad can extrude raw
data files to whatever extrusion length you
want. It wll then export a union of traingles
directly into povray format.
