Does anybody know where i can get a little util that takes the 1500 or so
TGA file from my animation and compresses them into a single AVI or GIFa

I hope your images are numbered though. If you are on something other
than 95/NT you will have to get the tga2avi.zip there and compile it
yourself.

Goto http://www.radgametools and get the freeware program called 'Smacker'.
It's the program used to create the .SMK files you'll find in a lot of
games, but it will also do TGA to AVI and a few other formats. It's an
excellent program.

Try Fast Movie Processor from www.bigfoot.com/~rapidi
It's free for non-commercial use, will read many file formats and will even image
process
your files as it compiles an AVI. You can also compile backwards.
