The new version of Wilbur (1.21) is out at
http://www.ridgenet.net/~jslayton/software.html.
Wilbur is a happy little height field generator that can do random
elevation, generic formulas, and even Mandelbrot/Julia set height
fields. It also manages to read USGS DEMs. Processing can be performed
and spiffy color maps created.
Output can be in numerous forms, including the 16-bit TGA format for
POV-Ray as well as a smoothed (hopefully) triangle mesh include file
output.
Enjoy (and report problems/good thoughts).
