Hi, I'm a student in chemical engineering and I'm looking for simple
proggies to model some molecules. There are only progs available that
use the PDB-format (it sucks), but I want to be able to make images of
for example H2O (ok, that's not too difficult) or soap
C17H35COOH.

Does anyone know where to find a program, which you can use to make the
molecules yourself?

Got to this page:

http://www.povray.org/nf-index.html

...and about halfway down there's six links to chemical modeling. Such
