    1. What haredware are you using
    2. What OS are you running
    3.  Were you running any other software
    4. Can you end the task, or must you reboot?

May be you have EMM386 with Expand memory enabled.. Try remove this with
'NOEMS' in line : device=EMM386.EXE Noems <other stuff>

There is "ram", not "auto" or "noems"

Well, I have DTA, and I use it for about one year with no problem...
It's sometimes slow, when i want to create flc out of 5000 .tga frames,
other than that, it's ok.
