Hi,
Here's an include for making ceilings of tiled height_fields. An example scene &
two height maps are included in the zip.

No problem. I should upload the beveling code too, just to get it out
there...

Thanks :) It's probably too ornate for the doc image; everything else
would need a good smattering of detail just to compensate...

I tend to agree with that comment. But there is nothing preventing using
a much more simple desing. A simple one made of circles and rounded
squares could work well. A small circle, an squared circle and a rounder
square can look good.

Or one of Sam's MSets as a heightfield.
