Here's am example showing my methods for multiplass rendering and compositing
directly in the POV-Ray SDL; standard ZIP file.
Also, I made a screen capture video that shows the entire multipass/compositing
process running from start to finish. Runs at 11x render speed so it's less than
3 minutes long, and kind of fun to watch.

I got a message that the .zip was corrupted, which must be my 7-Zip doing
something weird... so here's a .rar version too.

Maybe it's not your fault... some days ago I donwloaded a zip trough
the web interface and it failed, but when I used Thunderbird to retrieve
the same zip, it worked fine.

last evening I was also able to read your original zip as well (using
tbird) ... wanted to verify an example of RC3 style sslt syntax
