There's a certain satisfaction of knowing the machine is busy crunching
away. That usually happens after you've worked on something a long time
(although the attached file isn't one of those), and then finally it's the
machine's turn. There's also a certain frustration of waiting. I guess it
depends on the mood.
This is a tiny kaleidoscope type animation (sdl-wise anyway). 3 minutes.
5400 frames, 800x600, no AA.
To anybody who thinks they might have a fast setup, I wonder how long it'd
take it ;-) (Go ahead. Find out! :-D )
In the zip file there's an easy way to distribute frames. No special
software. Your pixels-per-second on each machine will show overall
performance for all machines.
