Hint: Check the orientation of the planar pattern.

Apply : rotate 90*x
		scale 1/19

inside uv material pigment (in place of scale 1)

Long explanation: planar is X-Z, not X-Y.

Have a nice day.

I too (after more than 20 years using POV-Ray) have my good amount of
rookie mistakes, only that I'm less inclined to ask for help, so I
expend lots of hours sorting them out... what's best? a few minutes
of public ridicule, or a lot of hours of private ridicule? ;)

Ask and maybe a little ridicule, or don't ask and get stuck for ages?

Like they say in France: 'Le ridicule ne tue pas' (Ridicule doesn't
kill) ;-)
