'Normal'- Who ever cared about what was normal? ;-)
'More detailed'- Are you kidding? That's the best car I've ever seen done in
a 3D program, especially POV.

Thanks! I wish I could do this for a living....

Just send me nice renderings that I can use as desktop backgrounds and I'll be
happy =)

Oops! I forgot to mention it's done on 3.5. I think it should work fine on
MegaPov or 3.1 if you just change the reflections to reflection .15

Enjoy =)

Ouch. Is it a bug on my system, or does it usually take that long to render?

What system do you have? While modelling, I usually only turn on the objects I'm
working with - showBody = on; showWhatever = on, etc.
 I also usually insert +q2 in the command-line and render at 300 x 200. Then I
usually shift-drag over the area I'm working on so that it only needs to render
that area...

At the moment the scene shows two cars. You can comment out one of them - It's
object {cars...} near the end of the file.

What were you planning on doing?

I'm running a Celeron 633 with 64 megs RAM. I was thinking about doing the
clicheed flying car, passing through a cloudbank.

No, it's not a bug. It is slow.

I'd suggest putting only showBody = on while doing the positioning, etc. After
that, maybe someone with a Gigahertz+ will be willing to do the complete render.
I'm working on a 333 MHz Celeron here at work and I have a 650 MHz Duron at
home. Both have 192 Mb RAM. I'd also suggest taking off the window transparency.

Hmm. Thanks anyway, but I may consider less time-consuming alternatives (no
offense, of course, I'd just like it to render faster).
