Thanks, it was about 5 years ago ...
My dream is to animate "Tales from Topographic Oceans" in 3D, but it
will take too much time and non-programming work, so I started from
simple 2D, and still dreaming ... :)

Thanks for the source, this one was crying out for a HDR render ;-)

Thanks day,
Sence jumping back into POV I've rendered a few images with 'radiosity on' but
have not experimented with an hdri sky setup. Is there a way to set the
dynamitic range of an image in POV? Thanks for the help.
Mike

You just need to apply the HDR or EXR image like any other image to a
big sphere of a sky_sphere.
Then, you can use emission to brighten (>1) or darken (<1) it.
There is no need to change the dynamic range. It's done internally.

Also "VIEWS" (1975) and "MAGNETIC STORM" (1984) art books by him. I'm proud to
say that I still have my original copies, even after *many* moves around the
U.S.

Too bad I've given away all my Yes vinyl records (after digitizing
them)... I'll have to dig into Dean's artwork available on the Internet!

Me too, back in 2001... but I should have bought the CD before rather
than afterwards!

...and composing Yes-tribute music for a full feature-length Topographic
Ocean movie! I'm a synth/organ player... but far from being as virtuoso
as Rick Wakeman!
