Hi,
I don't understand why you don't export directly using the pov addon ?

I am using version 2.79, never went to 3. Too many changes, and I only use the
mesh editor.

No, that didn't work. Especially with the fake gun ports. From the plans I took
the X- and Y-coordinates for the color bands, and with SDL I create closed
meshes, that I intersect with the hull. So the hull is split in 4 different
sections, each with its own color.
Here is the latest update, the hawsepipes for the mooring ropes are added, plus
the cap rail.

Cheers
Ton.

It reminds me a bit of a plastic kit, where you glue the two halves of the hull
together, and then add the decks and the rest of the ship.

Cheers
