This is great! I've tackled a few Eschers in my time but I never had a go at
this one. I look forward to the addition of the Pedalternorotandomovens
Centroculatus Articulosuses :D

Just a reminder that the copyrights on Escher's works have not yet
expired. (This issue has come up before.) Note that IANAL, and I am
not telling anyone what to do with this information.
Trying to reproduce Escher looks like fun. I once started an
interpretation of one of Escher's prints, but I never finished it.

As I said, IANAL (I am not a lawyer). I just want people to be aware.

To keep on the safe side, I suggest you contact The M.C. Escher Company.
I /think/ that you would be ok, though.

Sounds like someone on their legal staff doesn't know how the Internet
works.

I had a go at 'Relativity' years ago, but I don't think I have any good results
of that online.
I made a 'Double Planetoid' a while back, here's the most complete version that
it got to:
http://www.infradead.org/~wmp/gallery5/planetoid_day.jpg
I'm kind of on/off developing a 'Tetrahedral Planetoid' at the moment, posted an
initial example last year:

id.jpg
Quite different from the originals, I took the concepts only. Otherwise, just
lots of idle tinkering :)

Following your suggestions I've sent an email to mcescher.com, I'll let you know
their reply.
Bill Pragnell> You're a real veteran in term of Escher's reproduction !! ;-) I
like your works and the ones you've chosen. Others interesting me are "Balcony"
and "Print Gallery". But I would already be happy if I can complete only but one
in my lifetime.
