Hi there,

My current project is to reproduce the Dokken logo. I was having a difficult
time with the "D" because of the odd shape of the curve, which needed to be
bevelled with a rounded edge. My solution was to make the curve out of
wedge-shaped segments. Since the segments had strait edges they could easily be
bevelled. The inside and outside of the curve are independent, so the unusual
curvature of the inside could be applied. The drawback is slow rendering speed
when lots of segments are used.

The first picture illustrates the method of generating the segments. 15 degree
increments are used. The second picture shows a smooth curve using 1 degree
increments.

Thanks to those who provided advice for this problem! I would be happy to share
the code if anyone is interested. It can be adapted to many situations and is
very usefull.

Regards,
Dave Blandston
