Hey Algo,
It shares some commonalities with the Mandelbrot/Julia sets, but I have
never seen anything quite like this. Is it computed in a similar fashion
to the aforementioned fractals?
Good work, BTW! You don't have to tell us all the details (since you
might want to get published first), but a general idea would be informative.
I would like to see an antialiased version of this. Since this is
black-and-white with no gradients, you could compress it very well
without losing detail. A procedure for this would be to take it into
Gimp and select indexed color mode, dropping the colors down to 8, no
dithering. Save the image as a png file with compression level 9.
