This is just a design I was working on for an animated series of mine. It
is supposed to represent a spatial wormhole in the middle of Space. I
spent the last week or so to make it to this.

The coloring is effective. What is it made out of, a Folium Isosurface?
I've never used the shape, but I remember seeing it in Mike William's
isosurface tutorial:

It is made mainly out of cylinders, tori, and the fade-off on the edge is a
disc with a hole in the center.

I am not very good with the advanced aspects of Pov-ray, so I didn't use an
isosurface. I've learned how to use basic CGI so well, that I just stick
to primitaves, and meshes.
