Well, a thatched roof wouldn't be out of place, and would look quite
good.

It was very dependent of where the house was built. In France, for example,
peasants where only alowed to cut and harvest wood that was "as whide as a
child's wrist", so, they built with stone and mortar, and very little wood.

Hahaha, I love these old laws making it mandatory to have hay in your
vehichle and whatnot.. xD
But for the sake of it. Let's just say that this particular scene is taking
place outside of Europe, but in a similar environment. Kinda. Making the
creator standing above any law. :P
CHEEERS good people! ;)

Absolutely true. It was often dictated too by how how common a building
material was. In a wood starved area, one would build in stone of course (or
whatever common material available)

<grin> no, it was an album showing a rather complex set of buildings and
props (a bit like RushHouR's) which you could cut out and glue together into
a complete 3D representation of Unseen University. Very nicely done.

As far as I remember, yes... but I am not sure now. I didn't buy it (which I
regret now), thinking at the time how nice it would be to do that in
POV-Ray...
