This image does not belong here, it belongs in the beta binaries group.
Besides, the screenshot is meaningless because what the system shows you has
 little to do with actual memory used or released. It is only for
informational purposes of the user and cannot be used to determine if a
program releases all memory correctly.

there is no beta binaries group, although the original question is posted in
the beta group.  The question / problem is actually:

after receiving an "out of memory" "render failed" error it is not possible
to render any other scene, the run button is lit but "out of memory" is
returned, this happens for every / any scene regardless of complexity.  I
seems that when povray fails in this manner it should release all the
memory mapped for the failed parsing, and does not do this.  In the
non-beta release I experience no problems after such a failure.

There is, but I just noticed you posted via the web view, where there is no
direct link to that group. Nevertheless, it of course does exist, and it
located at <http://news.povray.org/povray.beta-test.binaries/> when using
the web view.
