Last one for now.  Media ball with internal light projecting outward.  Tried
exterior media too but it just made the image fuzzy.

Cool, I like that. Not sure why it makes me think of Tron light cycles
but it does. For some reason it reminds me of the rear wheel. An updated
Tron 2005.

Creates a nice impression of something actually *glowing* - not just a
render bug. Especially with those deeper orange reflections, gives a
real impression of "heat" to it.

Hint taken - I'm currently rendering 1600 versions of both this and the
'ghost in the shell' image.  I'll post links when they're done but they're
going to take a while...
