All comments and suggestions of improvements welcome.
I'm particularly unsatisfied with the texture of the ground, supposed to be
sand. The height-field also needs work.

How about Gilles Tran's grass macro instead of the plain green texture:

There should be plenty of good sand examples from the last IRTC round.  Nice
work so far, you entering this in the Toys and Games round?
