i am currently working on an image that requires a crystal object in a room
full of stone columns, that is in the center and lit by a spotlight from
above.

i could not find one at teh texture library here:
http://texlib.povray.org/index.html

and was wondering if someone could help me out with it.

thank you so much

Glass3 from textures.inc usually works fine, just adjust the ior if
necessary.

ok:

here is the picture

for any Wheel of Time fans, it is a picture of the heart of the stone in
Tear, complete with callandor floating in the center.

i plan on adding detail(in the form of little decorations with cylinders and
toruses) to the base of the columns, and i still have to replace the sphere
with the acual sword.

i might add a little raised platform in the middle for the sword to hover
over.

remember: this is the first picture i've ever made with Pov-Ray, so go easy
on me
