Hi all!

I've caught the flu and don't feel to well. For personal enjoyment and fun
I've hacked away at an older image of mine, "Love is a vow". I didn't change
just the materials, no, I've fine-tweaked the photon-settings, had to
handwork myself through all Poser-Exported Meshes and cut the
texture-statements away in order to apply the new material and gave it an
overall more soft look, though nice and shiny. The ground is actually white,
but the golden sunlight makes it appear "orangish".

With max_trace_level I had some stacked overflows (nah, stack-overflows, not
stacked -pause- overflow) until I reduced it from 256 to 240. Perhaps
something should be changed in the next official release in order to
compensate that, AFAICT (as far as I can tell) there have been more
overflows reported since max_trace was handled differently from 3.5 to 3.1.
And I'd expect that if max_trace_level is already maxed to 256, then there
should be no overflows, but perhaps I'm a complete dumbwit and don't
understand the issues there, if that is the case, just send me a calm and
nice reply with a simple explanation a general User might understand (I do
some programming though, so some "going into details is a waste of time"
isn't accepted :-) and I'll be quiet about that...

Well, enjoy the image!

Thanks! I figured I'd work on it some more. With a digital camera, taking
some snapshots as image-maps (e.g. a wooden board as texture for the plane)
is done with almost no effort (if you don't want it tileable), and since
I've bought one, why not make use of it.

I even figured that it'd now be possible to properly model my room in CG,
since I can take pictures of the carpet, tapestry, etc...

Eh? What are you trying to say to me here?

If you mean:
"Are they happily married?"
Then the answer is Yes. The difference couples should convey different ideas
of relationship, like protection, passion, closeness, trust, etc.
