Here's an image I've been working on.

It's a great building and perfect for pov, I think.

sphere, cyl.

There is an almost awesome program: DesignWorkshop Lite
that is excellent for architectural work.

As I am pretty confident that no women are reading this
I will say this;
getting the proportions has been a bitch.

If there is/are a women reading this...I doubt it...

Peter

Yes proportions are very hard! Not having a picture of the building you
mean in front of me I don't know how yours matches up. It looks really
good to me though. One of the things I have found when working with
proportions is that it almost never looks right at the beginning.
However if you have the general shape write, when you add a lot of
detail the proportion problem becomes less noticeable. This is the
reason that simple models are sometimes the hardest, the lack of detail
means you see any proportion problems right away. Anyone else agree?

That's a good idea. But I should register first.

Hate to break it to you but there is at least one woman reading this
group, me. I'm not offended though, they are just words. :)

There is. Don't worry, I've heard a lot worse at work.

Looking good Peter. Camera angel doesn't seem to be doing
you any favours here, widen it or narrow it or something, I
can never remember which.

Thanks, Steve.

I haven't been doing much in pov except playing with mega0.5.
I posted this to get my a** in gear.

It's a pretty big project and the camera angle I'm aiming for is
from the inside with the light coming thru the 'hole at the top'
(sorry for my arch.tech. talk).

I believe the CA can be contacted at:
cam### [at] inmydreamsorg
I actually got an answer...once.
