Sorry for the large file, I don't have an image-converter yet!

Using state-of-the-art technology, we can now read into computer minds.

It's looking good, I sprayed my mouse with MidnightBlue paint, but didn't
read the instructions on the can first, so it's got a texture like yours.

Nice texture on the mouse mat.

Thanks for the compliment. It's one of my first images that I feel is
decent enough to show. Before that, I was stuck in the
reflective-sphere-over-a-checkered-floor world, but recent posts in that
area have totally ruined my confidence

IBM rodents all have a bumpy texture. Unfortunately, the scale is so
small that I'd have to render the image at 4000x3000 to get it to show
properly.

Thanks. Just a blue mat with a bump normal

    pigment {
        color red 0 green 0 blue 1
    }
    normal {
        bumps 0.5
        scale 0.05
    }

Next, I need to add the coffee stain, dust particles and cat hairs.

Do computer mice dream of electric cheese?

Ha ha, good one. Media-filled blobs? I think the swiss cheese could have had a
few more bubble holes but it's the thought (pun) that counts.
I like the gray desktop.

Hey Bob have you just fallen through a time tunnel or something?

Yup. The smaller ones need work, though and I should put less media in
the big one, on my LCD screen you almost lose the cheese when you look
at it from an angle.

It also needs a texture. It's currently just a yellow chunk.

> I like the gray desktop.

Modelled after my desk. I wonder who ever thought that black
"fake-wood" melamin would make a nice desk, but it saved me lots of time
trying to achieve a realistic texture. I still haven't found ways of
properly rendering the cat hairs all over the place and the claw marks
on the mouse cord.

| Hey Bob have you just fallen through a time tunnel or something?

I was just going back through to the oldest messages I can see here, which was
to about the 2nd week of Feb. I had skipped a few "large" image posts (remember
when that was going on?) and planned to retrieve them to look at later and only
just now have seen them.
Anyway, you're right, it is kind of like going through a time tunnel.

Bob

The mouse pad isn't big enough for up/down movement etheir. Well, that's
my opinion anyway.
