I find that song a bit irritating.
I like the contrast between bass and treble. (Lit. & fig.)
I used to play a bit of electric bass and I would love to be able to play
contrabass. I would like to see (hear) a funky fusion band with 3 basses and a
sax. One contrabass, one electro-accoustic bass and one 6 string electric bass.
Percussion would be attained with various slap techniques like Rodrido y
Gabriella.

Sounds fun!
I find drumsets immensely overrated and overused these days when it 
comes to the rhythm section. Bass for me anytime!

As I'm currently much into Kraftwerkian retro-electronica, I'd prefer 
crude analogue synth percussion, perhaps generated on a Commodore 64!
